Exchange of vows on the front steps of The Carnegie — weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors in the open air of this historic building.
Please arrive by 3:30 PM to be seated
Cocktail Hour
Celebrate with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the front gallery of The Carnegie. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoors as the evening progresses.

What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire. Think elegant and festive — this is a historic Carnegie library, after all. We encourage guests to lean into the vintage, literary aesthetic if they wish.
Where should I arrive and when?
Please arrive at The Carnegie (1115 6th Street, Port Huron, MI) by 3:30 PM so you can be seated before the ceremony begins at 4:00 PM.
Will the ceremony be inside or outside?
The ceremony will take place on the front steps of The Carnegie, weather permitting. The cocktail hour and reception will be hosted in the front gallery, with the outdoors available to enjoy throughout the evening.
What will be served at the reception?
We're thrilled to be serving authentic Polish cuisine catered by Polish Village in Hamtramck. There will also be a full open bar throughout the evening.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is street parking available near The Carnegie as well as a public parking lot nearby. We recommend arriving by 3:30 PM to allow time to park and get settled.
Where do you recommend staying?
We recommend the Holiday Inn on Water Street in Port Huron — it's conveniently located and a great base for out-of-town guests.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We have a professional wedding photographer capturing every moment, so we kindly ask that guests put their phones away during the ceremony. We want you to be fully present with us — and we promise you'll receive beautiful photos to cherish!
Is this an adults-only event?
Yes — this is an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the chance to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening to the fullest.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by August 1, 2026 so we can finalize our headcount with the venue and caterer.
